Our team of qualified dentists will provide regular preventive dental care, including checkups and cleanings, to lay the groundwork for lasting oral health.

Preventive Care Services

Our office provides preventive care for the entire family. We emphasize patient education during your hygiene visit stressing the importance of home care, as a key to good oral health. Early detection of conditions such as gum disease, tooth decay and oral cancer is one of the best ways to assure the success of treatments at the least expense. Preventative dental checkups can help with the detection of oral health problems long before the onset of symptoms.

Nutritional Counseling

Dental patients face the challenge of interpreting nutritional information and making wise dietary choices. Early childhood cavities, oral lesions, and periodontal disease leave many patients with missing teeth and may further complicate chewing healthy foods.

Extractions and Root Canals

When the enamel “walls” of your teeth weaken due to prolonged softening from sugar and acid in your mouth, caries (or cavities) can occur. If your dental health has not been checked on a regular basis there is a possibility that your cavity requires emergency attention, requiring extraction or drilling/root canal to remove the tooth or the infection, preparing it for a filling or crown. Our office handles all cases with care, and a focus on patient comfort.

Restorative Dental Procedures

While our practice really strives to educate our patients in proper preventative care as well as healthy nutritional choices, we do handle every variation of restorative dental procedure.

Fillings

Fillings are the most common type of dental restoration procedure. Your teeth will be filled with silver amalgam, gold,  or tooth-colored plastic and glass materials called composite resin fillings.

Crowns

Crowns are a tooth-shaped caps that are placed over a tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, appearance, or to hold a bridge in place or cover a dental implant.

Bridges

Bridges are false teeth that are designed to “bridge” the gap created by one or more missing teeth. Bridges can be anchored on either side by crowns and cemented permanently into place.

Dentures

Dentures are a removable replacements for your missing teeth and surrounding tissues. They are made from an acrylic resin and are sometimes combined with metal attachments. Complete dentures will replace all your teeth; partial dentures “also known as partials” are considered when some natural teeth remain and are retained by metal clasps attached to the natural teeth.
